Twenty years of experience, one point of contact.
I started my career at a Big 4 accounting firm in Vancouver, then spent time as a tax auditor with the Canada Revenue Agency, which means I've seen how CRA approaches a file from the inside. From there I spent ten years as a partner at a Lower Mainland accounting firm, working with hundreds of incorporated businesses on their year-ends, reviews, and tax planning.
Running my own practice is a deliberate choice, not a stepping stone. It lets me keep things simple, transparent, and responsive: no account managers, no juniors learning on your file, no surprise invoices. When you work with me, you get direct access to a CPA who knows your business, and I take on a limited number of new clients each year to keep it that way.

Fixed fees, quoted up front
Year-end and tax engagements are quoted as fixed fees after an initial conversation. You'll know the cost before the work starts.
Direct access, always
Emails and calls go to me, not a front desk. Files are handled personally, and specialists are brought in only when your situation genuinely calls for one.
Planning, not just filing
Every year-end ends with a conversation about what's next: compensation, structure, and the decisions worth making before the next fiscal year, not after it.
Outside the office
Building is at the heart of everything I do.
Away from work you'll find me on the North Shore trails mountain biking, or spending time with my family. I'm a builder by nature, whether that's growing a business, a renovation project, vehicles, or bikes.
It's also how I think about client work: good structures, built deliberately, maintained well.
